I, Jochen Bregar, (collectively, "Winthir Studios" or "we", "us", "our") create and publish mobile games and applications. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to all our games, websites and related services, collectively referred to here as our services. This Privacy Policy explains how we, and affiliated companies, collect, use, secure, and/or disclose end-users' ("you" or "your") personal information when you use our services.
1) Personal Data That We Collect

Some of these pieces of data may be collected using cookies and/or similar technologies (such as software development kits, or "SDKs").
2) How We Use Your Personal Data
When you install and use Winthir Studios mobile applications, we may collect and process some of your data for different legitimate purposes. Below are the reasons why Winthir Studios may collect data and the legal bases our company relies on in each case.
To provide and maintain our services, recognize you when you return to our games, and perform essential business operations:
- Legal basis: such data processing is strictly necessary for the service(s) requested.
To administer and protect our services (including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, support, fraud prevention, reporting, and hosting of data):

3) Website-Specific Data Processing
In addition to the above, the following applies specifically to the use of our website winthirstudios.com:
Server Log Files
Our hosting provider IONOS automatically collects and stores information in server log files which your browser transmits to us. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of our website.
Newsletter (Buttondown)
If you sign up for our newsletter, we use the email service provider Buttondown (operated by Buttondown, LLC, USA) to send you emails. To do so, we transfer your email address to Buttondown. Your email is processed on the legal basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and is stored until you unsubscribe. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. Buttondown's privacy policy is available at https://buttondown.com/legal/privacy. Data may be transferred to the USA, where appropriate safeguards are in place under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Fonts
Our website uses self-hosted web fonts (Bricolage Grotesque and Outfit, both licensed under the SIL Open Font License). The font files are served from our own server. No font data is loaded from third-party providers, and no IP addresses are transmitted to external font services.
4) How We May Disclose Your Data
We will not rent or sell your personal data to third parties, but we may share your information from tools like cookies, log files, and device identifiers and location data with third-party organizations that provide automatic data processing technologies for the games. We do not control or influence these third parties' tracking technologies or how they may be used.
Ad Partners allow us to monetize ad inventory in our games and provide users with free products and services. These partners usually collect data via their own SDKs. Our advertising partners include:

Our services are not intended for use by children under the age of sixteen (16). We will not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of sixteen (16) without parental consent. To request the deletion of personal data, for any reason, please contact us.

This Privacy Policy is effective except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.
